Michigan State Football: Spartans, Terps get prime time game

EAST LANSING – The Big Ten announced Tuesday that Michigan State’s away game against Maryland this upcoming season will be televised at night.

The Nov. 15 contest will now be played at 8 p.m. on the Big Ten Network. As of right now, it’s the second game the Spartans will play at night this season. Michigan State is slated to host Nebraska at 8 p.m. on Oct. 4 on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.

The contest will be the first time Maryland and Michigan State have played against one another since 1950. The Terrapins defeated host Michigan State 34-7 nearly 64 years ago. Michigan State leads the all-time series 4-1.
