Anton Curtis picks Western Michigan over CMU, Toledo

Detroit East English Village athlete Anton Curtis announced Friday that he has committed to Western Michigan, choosing the Broncos instead of rival Central Michigan and league foe Toledo.

The news comes one day after Illinois defensive tackle Daniel Jackson picked the Broncos over a handful of Midwestern programs.

Curtis is a 6-foot-3, 170-pound wide receiver and defensive back who has played quarterback in the past. Most recruiting sites have not rated him because he’s a developmental prospect; however, he has tons of speed.

Daily Peninsula will update this report.
