Peek inside Western Michigan’s weight room

Western Michigan has 17 commitments in the boat.

The Broncos on Monday released another video to sell to recruits in the hopes of adding, at the very least, the 18th commitment to the 2015 recruiting class.

“Building the Boat,” a seven-minute YouTube clip, looks inside the Western Michigan weight room and hears from strength and conditioning coach Dan Nichol, a no-funny business guy who is responsible for shaping each football players’ bodies into game-ready shape.

After watching the video, I’m fired up about getting into Western Michigan’s weight room and doing some serious damage. I can’t imagine how excited a 17-year-old recruit feels after watching that clip.

The Broncos recently renovated their weight room as part of a $3.4 million initiative to improve the looks of their football facilities. The video shows glimpses of just what that new weight room looks like with players lifting weight.
