Eastern Michigan continues to mine Texas for recruits.
The Eagles recently offered senior linebacker Maxx Crosby, a 6-foot-3, 238-pound prospect from Colleyville Heritage High. He is the fourth player from the Lone Star state that the Eagles have offered, and Carrollton, Texas linebacker Clay Holford already committed to Eastern Michigan earlier this month.
Eastern Michigan is the first Football Bowl Subdivision school to offer Crosby.
According to Max Preps, he recorded 41 tackles (21 solo) and one sack as a junior last season.
He doesn’t show the speed a top linebacker should have, but he has a knack for getting to ball carriers. Should he improve his speed, he could be a good get for Eastern Michigan, if he commits to the Eagles.
